Privacy

What we collect, and what we don't.

Short version: we collect what you type into the enquiry form, we use it to reply to you, and we don't sell it, share it for marketing, or add you to a list. This site sets no cookies.

What we hold

Two things, and that's it.

What you send us. If you fill in the enquiry form, we receive your name, your email address, the type of project you picked, your current website address if you gave one, and whatever you wrote in the message box. If you email, call or message us on WhatsApp instead, we hold that conversation.

We use it for exactly one thing: replying to you and, if you go ahead, running your project. We do not add you to a mailing list, and we do not sell or rent it to anyone.

Anonymous visit statistics. We count page views so we know which pages are useful. This is aggregate only — no cookies, no cross-site tracking, no profile of you, and nothing that identifies you personally.

Our hosting provider also keeps standard server logs, which include IP addresses, for security and troubleshooting. That is normal for any website and those logs are rotated automatically.

Who else touches it

The services behind this site.

We would rather name them than write "trusted third parties". These are the only outside services involved in a normal visit.

01

FormSubmit

Delivers the enquiry form to our inbox. Whatever you type into the form passes through it on the way to us. It is not used for anything else.

02

Plausible Analytics

Counts page views without cookies and without collecting personal data. It is designed so visitors cannot be identified or followed across sites.

03

Google Fonts

Serves the typefaces this site is set in. Loading a font from Google means your IP address reaches Google's servers, the same as on most sites on the web.

Your rights

Ask, and it's done.

If you are in the UK or the EU, the GDPR gives you the rights below. We apply them to everyone who contacts us, wherever you are, because keeping two standards is more work than keeping one.

Can I see what you hold about me?
Yes. Email hello@markora.co and we will send you everything we have, normally within a few days and always within one month.
Can you delete it?
Yes. Ask and we will delete your enquiry and any correspondence. The one exception is paperwork we are legally required to keep — invoices for a completed project, for example, which tax rules make us hold for a set number of years.
How long do you keep an enquiry that goes nowhere?
Up to two years, in case you come back to us, and then it is deleted. Say the word and we will remove it sooner.
What is your lawful basis for holding it?
You sent us an enquiry and expect a reply — that is legitimate interest for a message, and steps taken at your request before a contract once a project starts. We are not relying on consent for marketing, because we do not market to you.
Do you use cookies or tracking pixels?
No. This site sets no cookies of its own, runs no advertising pixels, and does not track you across other websites. That is why you are not being asked to dismiss a cookie banner.
Who can I complain to?
Tell us first — hello@markora.co — and we will try to put it right. If you are in the UK you can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk, or to your national data protection authority in the EU.

Questions about any of this?

Email us and a person will answer — no ticket number, no form to fill in twice.
