A small business site that does not look small.

You are not competing with other small businesses any more. You are competing with whoever your customer looked at immediately before you — and they are increasingly judging in about ten seconds, on a phone. This is the service that closes that gap, for a published $299.

Who this is for

Five businesses this is built around.

Different industries, the same underlying problem: the business is better than the impression the website gives of it.

Trades, contractors and home services

Where the entire job of the site is to make one action obvious on a phone: call, or send an enquiry. Everything else is decoration.

Clinics, studios and appointment businesses

Where the visitor needs to know what you treat, what it costs, and how soon they can be seen — before they will book anything.

Professional firms and consultancies

Where credibility is the product, and a dated site quietly undercuts every claim on it.

Restaurants, cafés and hospitality

Where a menu that will not open on a phone at a dinner table is costing covers every single night.

New businesses launching

Where there is nothing to redesign, the brand does not exist yet, and the whole thing needs to appear in ten days.

What $299 includes

Everything, in the one price.

  • A custom design drawn for your business — not a marketplace theme with your logo dropped in.
  • Copy written for you, so nothing ships full of placeholder text you were quietly expected to replace.
  • Mobile-first build, tested on real phones, because that is where most of your visitors are.
  • A working contact form wired to your inbox, with spam protection that does not annoy real customers.
  • On-page SEO — titles, descriptions, headings, alt text, schema markup, sitemap and robots file.
  • Speed and accessibility passes — compressed images, keyboard navigation, readable contrast.
  • Launch support — we publish it, or hand every file to whoever maintains it.
  • Two rounds of changes, then every source file transfers to you on final payment.

What it does not include: hosting and domain, which stay in your name at $50–$200 a year; original photography; and anything genuinely bigger — a booking engine, a custom application — which we quote before you pay.

FAQ

Small business websites, answered.

How much should a small business pay for a website?
In the US market, agency quotes for a small-business site commonly land between $3,000 and $10,000, and freelancers between $1,000 and $5,000. Markora publishes $299 for a website and $459 for a brand and website together, fixed, with the scope written down before anything starts.
How many pages do I actually need?
Most small businesses need five: home, services, about, work or proof, and contact. Anything beyond that should exist because a specific customer question needs its own page, not because a template had slots to fill.
I do not have a logo. Is that a problem?
No. The brand and website bundle at $459 covers both, and is $39 cheaper than buying them separately. If you already have a logo you are happy with, we build inside it and you pay the $299.
Do I need to write anything?
One short brief — what you do, who buys it, what you want visitors to do. Ten minutes, once. We write the site copy.
What will it cost me to run each year?
Domain and hosting, typically $50–$200 a year, paid to your own provider in your own name. There is no monthly fee to us, and nothing switches off if you stop paying us.
Will I show up on Google?
The site ships with the on-page foundation done properly — titles, descriptions, headings, alt text, schema, sitemap and fast loads — which is what makes ranking possible. Ranking itself also depends on your market, your reviews and time. Anyone promising you a position is selling you something.
I already have a site from a builder. Should I move?
Only if it is costing you. If it loads fast, reads well on a phone and brings enquiries, keep it and spend the money elsewhere. We will tell you that. If it is slow, unreadable on a phone, or you cannot change it without paying someone, that is a different answer.

Ten days from now, it could already be live.

Send your current site or a couple of sentences about the business. You will get a fixed price and a fixed launch date back — and an honest answer if what you actually need is cheaper than what you were about to buy.
